I started working as an audit intern in 2017 at HLB Hungary in my second year of university. I spent nearly 6 years there and enjoyed learning about the world of auditing and accounting. During my time there I've graduated from university and received my BSc in Finance and Accounting, and worked my way through from the assistant position to the senior level. My main tasks were- Documenting invoices and audit work in general- Active participation during preliminary examinations and main examinations- Preparation of auditor's reports and deliverables- Communication with clients and audit team- Coordination of audit assistants and interns, delegation of tasks- Reviewing the work of audit assistants and interns- Execution of other tasks specified by managers- Holding together an audit engagement- Up-to-date knowledge of accounting, tax laws and audit standards. I've started my second BSc, in Business Informatics in 2020 and received my diploma in 2024. I'm currently working in technology consulting at EY, where I can put both my degrees to good use. My main tasks are- Efficient, proactive work in advisory projects- Understanding and applying accounting and other relevant legislation, and consulting where necessary- Basic knowledge of project management methodology- Application of standards for the preparation of reports, analyses, advisory letters and calculations- Conducting research and interpreting the results, concluding preliminary findings- Knowledge of the clients and their line of business- Supporting audit projects- Performing relevant administrative tasks- Documenting materials in compliance with the company requirements- Appropriate management and application of technological tools, workflows and templates. I am also interested in the areas of internal audit and controlling. Few of my future goals are to get CISA and/or IIA certifications and to learn German at a negotiation level. I'm a hard-working, proactive, efficient, decisive and motivated employee who copes well in stressful situations and always meets deadlines. I'm a global thinker who adapts quickly to every situation.
