For more than 20 years, he has been observing and researching the attractiveness of innovative technical solutions from a user perspective. He has written numerous technical and scientific publications. He has been awarded the following scientific accolades: Poznan University of Technology Rector's Award for Scientific Excellence; Minister of Infrastructure for Scientific Value award as book's co-author: “Research Methods and Models in Construction Process Engineering”. Before joining the International Union of Railways (UIC) he acted as coordinator of the Polish State Railways in the European research program Europe's Rail (successor of Shift2Rail JU).
