I'm a newcomer to Canada with a passion for social justice & progressive advocacy. I have seven years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and leading organizational operations; including board governance, human resources, accounting & bookkeeping, event planning, equity & diversity initiatives, office administration, and more. I'm proud to be a Palestinian-American and part of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, and hope to use my unique lived experience to empower traditionally underrepresented voices as leaders in creating a better, more inclusive world.
