I am a tax professional with over 5 years of experience in VAT compliance and advisory services across various industries in the GCC region. Currently, I am working as a Senior Executive with MMJS Consulting Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, where I am responsible for handling advisory works of clients across various sectors, reviewing and preparing VAT returns for UAE, and training and developing new hires. My experience in VAT compliance and advisory services started with Ernst and Young, Ernakulam, Kerala, where I worked as a Tax Advanced Analyst for over 3 years. During my tenure, I assisted in the preparation and review of VAT returns for UAE and KSA, created client opportunities for review tool, and managed GAZT queries of KSA clients, among other responsibilities. I also earned the EY Badge in Data visualization (MS Power Bi) during my tenure. Prior to EY, I worked with Deloitte Tax Services India Pvt. Ltd, Hyderabad, India, as a Tax Consultant. Here, I was responsible for preparation of direct tax returns i.e. computing taxability of corporations based on their cash inflows/outflows, preparing tax plans, and ensuring timely assessment, among other responsibilities. Apart from my professional experience, I worked as a Sales Consultant with Equifax Credit Process - Sutherland Global Services Ltd, Ernakulam, where I focused on customer retention, assisting on identity fraud issues, and providing the best quote on client products. Overall, I have gained expertise in analyzing and interpreting GCC VAT laws and regulations, managing engagements of GCC and European tax clients, and meeting tight deadlines with consistently high quality work. I am passionate about learning and implementing new tax strategies and technologies to optimize client’s business processes and minimize their tax liabilities. Throughout my career, I've helped organizations of all sizes grow their customer base and increase revenue by supporting them on tax compliance and advisory services. I'm passionate about leveraging my experience and skills to drive meaningful impact on the world.
