About my experience I started my adventure with clinical trials in 2012. For several years I was a Clinical Research Coordinator. Over the years, I have built a study team and an independent department of Angelius Clinical Trials. I was involved in projects in the field of dermatology, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, including the treatment of infertility through invitro fertilization, orthopedics, neurology, and neurosurgery. Working on over 100 projects allowed me to get to know the world of Clinical Trials very widely. I was conducting the trials from the very beginning - by conducting the Site through the feasibility questionnaire and Start-up process. I was assisting in negotiating contracts between the Site and the Sponsor/CRO. I was calculating the budget and negotiating the points of cooperation, managed invoices, and split the finances of Site and the Investigators. I was conducting Closing Visits (COVs). I implemented research paths at the Site and prepared the team, dividing the work between the staff so that the study proceeded efficiently in accordance with the protocol guidelines and GCP rules. I was coordinating the patient's ways in the study, helping the investigators to complete all the procedures planned in the protocol. I was assisting in the recruitment of participants and cooperation with external service providers (commercials and cooperating with referrals). I was helping the study staff in completing the eCRF and using the IXRS. I was collaborating with CRO on all levels of the study - both related to patients, visits, and payments (Polish, international, and intercontinental). I am lecturer at the Master of Business Administration MBA, Management in health care at the University of Technology in Katowice, the subject of my lecture:"Clinical trials in organizational and financial aspects". I am an active member of the Polish Association for Clinical Research GCPpl. I was also active in patient support groups, where I educated patients in the field of clinical trials.
