With 15 years of experience in grouting design and underground construction, Mashuqur is a Technical Specialist at TYPSA AB, a leading engineering consultancy firm in Sweden. He provides technical solutions for diverse activities related to rock engineering, geology, and hydrogeology for large infrastructure projects, especially metro lines. He has been involved in the extension of the new metro line (Blue line - Nacka to Söderort) and the extension of Stockholm metro (Fridhemsplan - Alvsjö), some of the most challenging and complex projects in the country. He has led the grouting design team, evaluated the geological and hydrogeological field investigations, performed the uncertainty analysis for the estimation of the inleakage, and reviewed the contract documents. He has also written design reports, tender documents, and reviewed the implementation of the design during construction. He has adapted the observational approaches for the difficult hydrogeological conditions and the deep vertical excavations, and has applied the grouting design concepts in Scandinavia and in other European countries. Mashuqur holds a Ph.D. and a Licentiate degree in Soil and Rock Mechanics, and an M.Sc. in Infrastructure Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. He also has certifications in Grouting, New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM), and Grouting Certification Course. He has a strong interest in leadership and innovation, and likes to contribute with new ideas towards problem solving, growth, risk management, and improvement of his team. He is passionate about delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions for the infrastructure development and the urbanization.
