I am a procurement officer currently at Uganda Virus Research Institute in Entebbe (UVRI) under the VIDO COVID 19 research project. Work experience of over 2 years in Public procurement dealing in high levels of procurements in daily and weekly basis both micros and macro procurement following the PPDA Act. Skills acquired include good negotiation skills and ensuring value of money,Microsoft excel,word and PowerPoint presentations,report writing of submissions and evaluations to the contracts committee Issuing bid documents to suppliers,writing local and foreign purchases among other duties.
