Born and raised in East London in the United Kingdom. My passion and urge for personal development was planted in me at an early age by my late parents who migrated to the UK from Ghana. After attending secondary school, I studied BA Marketing at the University of Hertfordshire in 2008. During my time at UH I took a gap year and did an International Marketing work placement in the Gran Canaries. After finishing my degree, I was a part of the Afrobeat diaspora multi-media digital platform B3tta. The platform was one of the first to highlight Afrobeats, Afroswing and Afrofusion artists and their content. My career then evolved and I joined the FinTech industry starting with Lloyds Banking Group, Prudential Insurance, The Financial Ombudsman Service and then in 2016 I joined the Microlending Fintech Wonga Group Limited (London & Cape Town). I am also the co-founder of Haze Gin, a Ghanaian-British Gin distilled and produced with local botanicals. In 2020 before the whole world shut down (Covid-19) I was a part of the Product team at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. Once the borders for Ghana opened up again I took the leap of faith and relocated in 2020. I took some time to find myself and then landed into this amazing opportunity at Crux Global where I have been the General Manager for almost 3 years. Crux Global has recently partnered with Sony Music and we are the official digital music hub for Sony in Ghana. One of our goals is to get all local and legacy Ghanaian artists and creatives educated about streaming and earn global recognition on all digital platforms.
