Hi, my name is Greg! I’m a soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Honours)(Robotics and Mechatronics) from Swinburne University of Technology, transitioning from academics to a full-fledged career in the tech and engineering world. Born and raised in the beautiful landscapes of Zimbabwe, I’ve always been fascinated by how technology can transform industries. Now based in Kuching, Malaysia, I’m ready to take on new challenges and make a tangible impact. 🤖 With hands-on experience in robotics, automation, and embedded systems, I’ve honed my skills in ROS2, C++, Python, and PLC programming while working on projects ranging from autonomous vehicles to industrial automation. I’ve designed wireless charging systems, developed pick-and-place robots, and even built compound monitoring robots from scratch. My internships at HelloWorld Robotics and SHRDC have given me a solid foundation in real-world problem-solving, project management, and cutting-edge tech integration. I’m passionate about applying my skills in automation, defence, manufacturing, R&D, robotic software, agriculture, and mining. Whether it’s optimizing supply chains, enhancing autonomous systems, or developing embedded solutions, I’m eager to contribute to industries that drive innovation and sustainability. A strong believer in continuous improvement and lifelong learning, I’m always looking to grow—both personally and professionally. I’m open to relocation and excited to collaborate with diverse teams to tackle complex challenges. Outside of work, you’ll find me gardening, hiking, or diving into a good non-fiction book. I’m also a field hockey enthusiast and love getting my hands dirty—whether it’s on the job site or in the great outdoors. 🤝 Let’s connect!
