About
On the record
As a medical student, one of the most important skills I learned is working under extreme pressure. Throughout both, the educational years and the clinical years, medical students are given tasks that require intelligence, quick thinking and the ability to stay as composed as possible under high pressure. Meanwhile, my experience in undergrad as a nutrition student has taught me to be a “people’s person” and to handle communicating with people that are of different backgrounds and mindsets. Nutrition and dietetics teach you how to create projects that reach the less privileged and supply them with the nutrition and education they need to thrive in their community. All of the above have equipped me with many skills that include critical thinking, fast thinking, problem solving, working under pressure, communication skills, project planning and empathy.
