Hailing from a south-Indian city - Bangalore I feel truly blessed to have experienced the cosmopolitan culture of my city with people from across the country and several parts of the world with diverse cultural economic ethnic linguistic and social backgrounds. It is with great honor I share that I had the opportunity to be a semi-professional fencer representing India winning 18 national medals for Karnataka and be part of the shooting team for 7 KAR BN NCC a youth integration program of the Indian Armed Forces. Even during law school and as an in-house counsel I relished playing football running yoga and working pro-bono for the Fencing Association of India and athletes on varied legal sponsorship endorsement etc. aspects. A high moment of this journey was witnessing the journey of the first Indian Olympic fencer and experience an inspiring story from close quarters. As an in-house counsel I advised on several labor law-related matters for the India & APAC jurisdictions managed liability insurance portfolio for the group companies and drafted reviewed and negotiated several multi-million dollar deals for the Information Technology industry including digital innovation partnership marketing and sponsorship deals for global sporting organizations. A creative problem solver skilled in identifying risks opportunities and practical solutions that balance business imperatives with legal financial risk data privacy cyber security IP people and other considerations. Eventually transitioning to sports business I was primarily responsible for sponsorship and partnership activation for La Liga’s Metaverse project LaLigaland. Expertise across technology digital media data and other domains with a focus on leading teams that plan to structure negotiate and close complex transactions. I draw inspiration from incredible leaders who have influenced my work ethic personality and professionalism and in luck to have been led and mentored by incredible global female leaders. I founded PROPELATHON – Sports is Capability. An organization that aspires to propel businesses of visionary entrepreneurs who re-imagine and reconstruct the sporting ecosystem. PROPELATHON in collaboration with all of our partners advisors and clientele aims to make the sports ecosystem more equitable inclusive sustainable and trans-formative for all stakeholders.
