Great experience as a teacher of English as a foreign language and events manager. As a teacher/tutor I strongly believe in natural language acquisition following the research and teachings of linguists such as Krashen and Finocchiaro. Moreover I have been preparing students for lelts and all Cambridge examinations. I have extensive expertise as a talent handler and interpreter (Italian-English) for events and specifically for Film Festivals. I am a motivated professional with extensive talent handling, guest relations skills and have been working with great passion within the film industry for over twenty years. In my previous jobs, most notably as Guest Relations Manager for the Doha Film Institute, Qatar and in Guest Relations and Talent Handling at the Giffoni Experience in Italy, I had the pleasure to assist and work as a liaison for many A-list talent (Woody Harrelson, Tom Felton, Kit Harrington, Kaia Scodellario, Oliver Stone, Gabriel Jared just to name a few of the most recent) and was the primary contact for the VIP representatives. I was also the project manager of Giffoni voyager, the dynamic international soul of the Giffoni experience. In the early Festivals and events were coproduced and organized in Berlin, Wien, Hollywood, Sidney, Adelaide. Since 2010 more financial and human resources have been dedicated to GV. The achievements of the events set up in Macedonia, Albania and the expertise made available for prestigious international institutions such as DFI and its Ajyal have turned out to be a huge success. Years of experience as an English Italian interpreter have helped me to build up communication skills in the field of cinema, art and business. Constantly searching for new challenges I am used to working in an international environment.
