Experienced Naval Officer (Rear Admirat (ret) OF-7) former Commandant of NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center in Souda Bay, Crete. Previous post was Head of Division Operations Coordination and the Executive Director EU Maritime Area of Interest Coordination Cell (MAICC) at EU Military Staff following a 2 years tour as Director Plans and Policy in the Hellenic Navy General Staff and POLAD to the Chief of the Hellenic Navy. Worked in NATO (SHAPE) as officer of primary responsibility for the NATO Response Force and the Major Joint Exercises. Demonstrated history of working in policy development and consultation. Skilled in International Organizations, Crisis Management, Policy Development, Public Diplomacy and Human Resources. Strong naval specialist, graduated from NPS USA (MSc in Applied Physics) and University of Geneva (Advanced Studies in European Security). Fluent in English and French, he also speaks Spanish and dome Arabic.
