Following my master’s degree in Biology with a specialization in immunology, I’m actively seeking an opportunity develop my research skills and career further with a PhD position or working in a laboratory. Over the course of my studies I gained experience with various microbiology techniques and during my contribution to the study association I acquired other skills. Such as collaboration, overview of finances, making plans and organizing events. As chairman of the association I gained the experience in leadership, managing and delegating people, making decisions and coming up with innovative ideas. During my previous internships I conducted research into the microbiome of sponges and alloreactive T cells and gained experience in the following research techniques: DNA extraction, PCR, cultivating human immune cells, flow cytometry and data analysis. My interest also lies in cell biology and especially the immune system. I am passionate to explore more aspects of this field, especially related to vaccination and immunity. I am excited to link up with you!
