I am a researcher in the field of quantum physics and photonics, holding a master's degree from the Abbe School of Photonics at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. My early research focused on the relaxation dynamics of quantum systems in the vicinity of plasmonic structures. This foundational work paved the way for my doctoral studies at King's College London and Imperial College London's Blackett Laboratory. During my PhD, I dedicated significant efforts to interfacing quantum emitters with optical antennas, aiming to enhance the directionality of emission. This work was crucial in progressing towards the realization of deterministic single photon emitters. Additionally, my PhD research involved work on the electrical control of single photon emission in colloidal quantum dots at room temperature, utilizing electrochemical charge doping methods. After completing my PhD, I joined SDU as a postdoctoral researcher. Here, my research continued to explore the control of single photon emitters' properties, and I expanded my scientific pursuits to include 2D materials for valleytronics and the intricate dynamics of electron-photon interactions. My work in these areas was recognized with the prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship, supporting my investigation into charge doping techniques for manipulating the properties of transition metal dichalcogenide monolayers. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to advancing our understanding of quantum phenomena, continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible in photonics and quantum optics.
