Proven track record in pioneering and managing supported housing projects, forming meaningful partnerships with key stakeholders, and delivering practical and holistic support. Strong understanding of the complex issues underlying homelessness and a commitment to creating positive change for society’s most vulnerable individuals, and speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves. I have lived experience of homelessness, mental health challenges, substance misuse and unemployment. This has given me a deep understanding of the support people need during such vulnerable times, including help with debt, housing legislation, mental health, addiction, and resettlement. I recognise the importance of collaborating with various services to offer comprehensive support. Through my work, I've had the privilege of connecting with diverse and talented individuals, learning the value of creating a safe, family-like environment where people can feel valued and build positive relationships. My goal is to provide life support, foster resilience, and help people develop life skills, enabling them to pursue work, education, training, or volunteering while realising their potential and preventing future homelessness.
