About
On the record
I'm an astronomer and researcher in the final year of my Ph.D, supported by the ANID scholarship. My research focuses on supernova rates, photometric classification, and time-series spectroscopy, and I’ve presented my work at international workshops and conferences. I also apply machine learning techniques (RF, GP, SVM, PCA, NN, YOLO) to real-world problems. Currently, I work as Lead Data Scientist at SK Godelius, where I develop failure detection algorithms, perform data analysis, and build AI-powered systems for predictive maintenance and anomaly detection in the mining industry. Collaborating with the Millennium Institute of Astrophysics and ALERCE, I contribute to scientific outreach, and I also enjoy teaching math, physics, and Python.
