About

On the record

Marine biologist with a passion for ocean conservation and communication. After completing a BSc in Marine Biology at the University of Essex, I gained work experience in research and fieldwork across Mozambique, Mexico, and the Seychelles, mainly focusing on elasmobranchs and coral reef ecology. As Head of Marine Biology at Geneva Ocean Academy, I’ve taught over 300 people about marine ecology and worked to raise awareness about ocean conservation through conferences, school workshops, dive expeditions and exhibitions. Now undertaking a Masters in Marine Biology at the University of Western Australia, I’m more dedicated than ever to protect marine biodiversity and turn research into action that benefits both ecosystems and communities.
