I am working for BrandLoyalty and its subsidiaries worldwide since 2014. As of November 2019 I am BrandLoyalty’s General Counsel (“Head of Legal”) and in that capacity responsible for all legal matters worldwide as well as still admitted to the Dutch bar. In this position I report directly to the CFO of BrandLoyalty’s Group of Directors. Within the in house commercial legal team of BrandLoyalty consisting of 7 other legal counsels I am mainly focusing on contract and employment law (both on a national and international level) as well as corporate, IP/Licensing and privacy/data protection law. Next to drafting, reviewing and negotiating (commercial) contracts also involved in dispute resolution. Simultaneously maintaining a broad network of external legal professionals in the countries in which BrandLoyalty is active. About BrandLoyalty: BrandLoyalty is one of the world´s leading loyalty consultants in the food retail sector and part of Fortune 500 company Alliance Data Systems listed on the New York Stock Exchange (S&P 500). We design and execute innovative loyalty concepts for food retailers worldwide e.g. Ahold – Auchan – Carrefour – Edeka – Metro Group – REWE Group. In essence, our in-store programmes encourage shoppers to come to and (re)visit our clients' stores. They change their shopping behaviour because they feel appreciated; their loyalty is rewarded. And, what is most important to our clients, their customers spend more of their grocery budget at our clients' particular stores. The digital evolution in short term loyalty programmes has started and BrandLoyalty is leading this era; enabling digital stamps collection, creating online activation platforms, using social media integration and augmented reality apps that be implemented to activate and involve more customers. BrandLoyalty's main headquarters is located in Den Bosch, The Netherlands. Next to that BrandLoyalty has subsidiaries throughout the world, such as in Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan and Russia. BrandLoyalty conducts business in over 50 countries all over the world.
