Sudipta is a passionate leader with global outlook and demonstrated capabilities in building and leading businesses successfully across developed and emerging markets through innovation and digital intervention and a strong advocate of nurturing knowledge driven communities, to empower sustainable livelihoods. A University Topper in Agricultural Sciences and an alumni of National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) Hyderabad and IIM Calcutta, Sudipta's academic laurels reflect in his unique approach and execution. His passion for food and agribusinesses, hands on approach, holistic understanding of the sector, forward thinking, focus on execution and ability to mentor large teams gave him the opportunity to serve multi business conglomerates like Walmart/Flipkart, Mahindra, ITC in leadership positions and established him as a seasoned and successful seed to fork specialist achieving revenue, profit and market growth objectives consistently. A firm believer in technology as a solve for the challenges in agriculture & agribusinesses, he led probably one of the first large scale digital intervention in agribusinesses in India with ITC eChoupal. eChoupal revolutionized the supply chain of agri commodities challenging the traditional systems empowering farming communities and helped establish multimillion-dollar food brands creating a virtuous system of value capture across the value chain. He led the JV of Mahindra Greenyard (Greenyard is World’s largest produce player) and spearheaded it’s foray in the Produce segment and established an international supply chains from USA, Italy, Chile, RSA, China, NZ for distribution in India He contributed significantly towards the development of food retail in India during his stints with Spencer’s Retail & Walmart/Flipkart India. He helped establish multiple farm to fork entrepreneurs which today stand as the backbone of the organized food retail in India in Staples, Fresh, Dairy, Chilled and Frozen. In Africa he spearheaded the foray of Nutrisource in the continent, in both East & West Africa to establish its Agri Inputs Manufacturing, Trading and Distribution business by ensuring availability of high quality Agri Inputs, supported by custom-made agronomy services driven through cutting-edge digital technology of farm services App-Farm Santa. Further on he moved with Arise IIP, a PAN African developer of Industrial ecosystems, to anchor it's Agri Value Chain Initiatives across Congo Basin. From April 2024 he is leading, Fludor Benin a TGI Group Company in West Africa, as its MD
