15753 https://nikenjayamochi.jp/ 2119231219979ISEKADOISEKADOInternational Brewing Award ( 19972016 ※narihiro@kadoyahonten.co.jpFacebookmessenger I am the 21st generation owner of NIKENCHAYA MOCHI KADOYA HONTEN ( https://nikenjayamochi.jp/), established in 1575, as well as KADOYA Miso and Soy Sauce, established in 1923, and founded ISEKADO craft beer in 1997, ISEKADO has won consecutive gold medals at the International Brewing Awards ( the Oscars of the beer world. I have also served as a judge at this competition twice. After graduating from Tohoku University with a bachelor's degree in agriculture, I returned to my family business, NIKENCHAYA MOCHI, where I worked making rice cakes, miso, and soy sauce. I started making craft beer in 1997 when the ban on craft beer making was lifted in Japan, and in 2016 I was awarded a doctorate from Mie University for my research on wild yeast. In addition to serving as president of a craft beer company, I am currently a visiting professor of Shizuoka University and president of the Japan Homebrewers Association. My hobbies include reading and karate ( 2nd Dan ).
