My home town is Riga where I run my own local travel company Blueberry Travel. For about six years I’ve been involved in the world’s coolest and largest local travel company – WHL Group. It's a global network of companies that help travellers find unique ways to experience a destination through local tourism professionals. 2006 - 2013 I was involved in few of WHL-Group member companies (whl.travel, Urban Adventures and Hotel Link Solutiond) and have seen the explosive expansion of worldhotel-link.com from its modest regional roots to a global travel network with around 350 destinations in nearly 100 countries. I've always been thankful to whl.travel for inviting me to join them, because I’m sure that it offers me great business potential, new opportunities for sales and marketing as well as a chance to present Riga, Latvia as green and up-and-coming country. From August 2010 to December 2012 I was running Europe and Middle East Office for whl.travel and I handled partner recruitment for whl.travel in Europe.
