Dr. Amit J••• is an Anaesthesiologist specialising in the assessment, diagnosis and management of any pain that lasts longer than 3 to 6 months without relief (Chronic Pain). He holds a prestigious Clinical Fellowship in Pain Management from Aesculap Academy, Germany.He also hold National Fellowship in Palliative Medicine and is actively pursuing excellence in Palliative Medicine. He is a strong advocate of pain relief as a basic human right. In addition, he strongly promotes pain relief, to provide palliative care and to maintain quality of life in patients suffering from Cancer in all stages of the illness. He has a passion for alleviation of both acute and chronic pain and help patients attain best possible quality of life at every stage of their treatment. He believes that it is the right of every patient to be pain-free and have an adequate symptom control - “Cancer does not mandate suffering in pain!”.
