I’m an educator, course designer, and TEFL course director with 20+ years of experience helping people change their lives through teaching English abroad. As the Founder and Director of The Language House TEFL in Prague, I’ve helped grow our program from a small, passionate idea into one of the highest-reviewed and most respected TEFL courses in the world. Our graduates teach on every continent, and our Prague center has become a training hub for aspiring teachers, schools, and international organizations. I also lead our teacher-training methodology, mentor trainees daily, and work directly with schools to improve classroom practice, curriculum, and onboarding. Over the past 5 years, I’ve delivered live teacher-training workshops to language schools and educators worldwide, supporting both new and experienced teachers in improving their instruction. Outside of the classroom, I build educational content that reaches a global audience. My YouTube channel — Chris from The Language House — has grown to subscribers, helping future teachers understand TEFL, navigate life abroad, and build confidence in the classroom. My mission is to help new and experienced teachers excel in the classroom.
