About
On the record
Experienced facilitator, creative leader and process-based problem solver grounded in design thinking and sustainability. Trained as a fashion designer, with a background in art, I’m an all-round interdisciplinary creator with a skillset spanning a wide range of craftmanship. Through my previous work as founder and gallery director I have gained vast understanding for project management and organizational development. I have later dedicated my professional life to knowledge distribution and teaching, educating a new generation of sustainable textile workers. With my latest initiative FLÖ∆E (flode.se) I am very excited to be a part of the sustainable transition in the textile and fashion industry in Sweden. FLÖ∆E is a knowledge-based research and development lab in Stockholm and will offer product development and production services with no new materials focusing only on upcycling. At FLÖ∆E we are developing models for large scale remanufacturing and product development for resource-efficient apparel upcycling by weaving together material-based design development and innovative patternmaking. The aim is to present new knowledge about remanufacturing and scalable models for garment upcycling to improve the conditions in the fashion industry at large, steering away from unsustainable linear business models towards circular processes.
