As a Data Engineer at Banco Industrial Guatemala, I specialize in process automation, creating new data sources, and enhancing data models to meet business requirements. My role involves troubleshooting production errors and working closely with the data science team to develop new features, all within an agile, SCRUM framework. Previously, I served as a project manager, but my passion for data-oriented roles led me to my current position. My technical expertise includes Azure, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps, Databricks, Python, Spark, Hive, SQL, Kedro, Docker, Terraform, GIT, and Jira. I also excel in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership, and creativity. I am proud to have been awarded Cum Laude for my bachelor's degree in computer software engineering with a specialization in digital marketing. Additionally, I received the Huawei Seeds For the Future scholarship, which deepened my knowledge in 5G, AI, and ML. My outstanding performance in my current role has also been recognized. I am proficient in English and a native Spanish speaker. My goal is to leverage advanced data analytics to drive impactful business solutions, ultimately aspiring to become a Data Lead. Outside of work, I enjoy reading and continuously learning new things through courses, podcasts, and industry papers.
