Andrew lives in the country on a small farm with his wife and five kids and has a real understanding for the struggles of country people. He loves people which comes through in his warm approach to leadership, training and mentoring and has a passion for helping everyone he works with reach their full potential. Andrew’s goal is to improve the prospects of job seekers and youth particularly in the country and beyond by continually fighting for their cause through his work in training and assessing, education, mentoring and his experience as an instructional designer. As a Content Writer and Instructional Designer he has developed the following courses online for a number of RTO’s using the Ammonite LMS software including: • Diploma in Leadership and Management • Diploma in Project Management • Certificate in Hospitality. Certificate in Cleaning Operations. Various single units of competency Part of his areas of expertise include researching content, writing assessment tools, and formatting learning objects and resources, using the training package guidelines and standards. As a subject matter expert he contributed to the development and updating of resources for the following qualifications: • Certificate Carpentry • Certificate IV Building and Construction • Certificate in Hospitality. Certificate in Cleaning Operations Including mapping, and assessment tool validation processes. His experience in course development also includes creating power point presentations for Cert IV and Diploma courses and creating both digital and paper based content. Having been in the building industry for many years, Andrew has been able to gain practical experience over a wide range of qualifications including Certificate IV in Building, Certificate in Carpentry and Certificate in Painting and Decorating. He also holds a Diploma in Leadership and Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Andrew leads by example and uses positive motivation and a warmth to encourage a strong team environment and good work relationships. This shines through with his infectious enthusiasm for his work and life.
