Project Engineer Technology at Zytec Non-Contact Drive

About

On the record

Hydrogen & Control Engineering enthousiast – Looking for Opportunities! Since high school, I have been fascinated by renewable energy and sustainable mobility. A project at High school led me to explore battery electric vehicles, but during my internship at Nedstack Fuel Cell Technology, I discovered the potential of hydrogen fuel cells as a complementary solution. From that moment, I knew I wanted to deepen my expertise in both technologies to contribute to a cleaner future. From Theory to Practice After my modelling experience at Nedstack, I spent a year as Chief Fuel Cell Engineer at Forze Hydrogen Racing (TU Delft) to implement the modelling knowledge into mechanical design. Here, I collaborated with Hyundai, FTXT, EKPO, and Bürkert. I gained valuable insights into system design, safety, and real-world implementation. Alongside my studies, I worked as a PhD assistant at TU Delft, researching offshore wind-to-hydrogen systems and 24/7 energy hubs. Bridging Hydrogen & Control The next step that interested me, was how to get a system working? Therefore, I pursued a Master’s in Engineering Systems (Embedded Control & Hydrogen Technology) at HAN University of Applied Sciences. Here I obtained a Master's degree by defending my thesis in purge control for a PEM fuel cell system of EH Group (Switzerland). What’s Next? Now that I have graduated, I am looking for job opportunities where I can combine my (hydrogen) expertise, control engineering skills, and passion for clean energy solutions. I am interested in: Hydrogen Technology (production, storage & utilization) Control Systems & Automation (MPC, ILC, Adaptive Control, Lyapunov Stability) System Testing & Optimization Energy Transition & Sustainability (heat pumps, batteries, smart grids) Mechanical & System Design (CAD, FEM, concept development)
