Michael blends academic training in international affairs and business administration with over a decade of hands-on experience in supporting senior leaders in private industry and the U.S. government. Michael is known for his strong organizational skills while concurrently managing several projects, possessing excellent writing skills with attention to detail, and providing best-in-class customer service to a broad range of clients. Currently Michael is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as part of RMA Cambodia's Senior Management team. He has direct responsibility over a range of products, handling the supplier relationships, and managing his division's budget. In addition, Michael sits on the Board of Directors for the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), acting on the Board for the Cambodian Auto Industry Federation, and partakes in numerous committees with the European Chamber of Commerce, AmCham, and more. Formally a Foreign Affairs Analyst supporting the U.S. federal government, Michael earned a Master's in Strategic Security Studies from the U.S.'s elite National Defense University, which prepares senior level policy makers for the strategic challenges in the contemporary security environment. Previously, he served in the United States Peace Corps in a small refugee village in Armenia, along the contested Nagorna/Karabach and Azerbaijani borders. His unique perspective is shaped from an understanding of the theoretical International Relations knowledge mixed with practical on the ground experience in developing countries. Stemming from his undergraduate degree in International Relations from Bentley University, with a minor in International Business Management, Michael also holds a Master's in Strategic Security Studies and a Master's in International Business Law (LL.M.). This degrees spans a range of subjects, covering both legal and commercial perspectives, from commercial contracts to corporate governance, to the law of the European Single Market and the World Trade Organisation. Michael focused his dissertation on the need for a review of best practices in International Investment Law in Southeast Asia.
