Bening is a Photovoltaic (PV) Materials Scientist who has accumulated hands on experiences in solution processed semiconductor materials especially halide perovskite photovoltaics. He is also fluent with discourses on Net Zero, critical minerals, and circular economy. Started as chemist, He developed his core knowledge in intersections between chemistry, semiconductor physics, and materials processing. He has depth and width of knowledge in solar cell and module fabrication, packaging, and reliability tests. His experience spans over narrow- and wide-bandgap perovskite materials, a variety of carrier transport materials and encapsulation techniques.
