To Sponsors/Partners with a thirst to help our Niseko Area Mountain Bike Association Non-profit Organisation (NPO) build trails and grow our MTB Community. I am the vice-president of Niseko Area Mountain Bike Association - NAMTBA, located in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. Our association is looking to team up with world class brands/sponsors to help NAMTBA reach its goals and objectives to make Niseko Asia's No.1 MTB destination. NAMTBA was born in the summer of 2021, an NPO committed to build “A united Niseko area with a common mission to create a world class sustainable mountain bike community, and off-road biking ecosystem.” Niseko’s potential as a mountain bike destination is untapped, 4m+ annual visitors flock to the area from across Asia and the globe. The area has the terrain, tourism infrastructure and brand recognition – everything needed to succeed as a summer destination. Everything except trails! Our NPO board consists of 24 members, among our ranks you’ll find GMs of two ski resorts, town councilpersons, local business leaders, the president of the local tourism association and the president of Hokkaido’s Largest forestry company. You’ll also find equitable representation of nationalities, genders and rider experience levels. We are now fundraising our first project: the “Mt Futagoyama” community bike park. Planned and designed in collaboration with Swiss trail experts Allegra, Futagoyama will be a beginner friendly, free-to-use park with 30+ kms of trails. Futagoyama’s prime location (situated between Niseko’s Grand Hirafu and Hanazono ski areas) plays a key role in our masterplan as a development pipeline for future riders and a link between these two resorts. The estimated project cost is – building and funding rounds will be split into achievable phases. We are seeking grants, support and wishing to build partnerships with world class brands, from those who understand Niseko’s potential to become Asia’s premier resort and who recognize this opportunity to shape and support a grassroots level project from its inception.
