Hi, my name is Thomas, I am 25 and am a graduate of Bachelor of IT at Deakin University.I’ve a strong passion for technology. Wherever I have had the chance to create my own works, whether that be as part of a game or my own projects, I have done so. As I have worked through my education, programming has become my highlight and my focus, where I feel I can make the most difference and take the most satisfaction.I possess strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and use these to my full extent in my work, in order to make the best solution possible. Practically, I’ve had experience with coding in C++ and C#(utilising Splashkit.io), NAOqi & Python, VB, and GML and have created websites on a basic level, dabbling in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I find that I learn best how to solve a problem through experimentation, utilising trial and error if a solution is not immediately known. I find that my best skill when it comes to programming is being able to mentally run through the steps a program will take and see where potential issues will arise; where it will break if certain circumstances are met.Given the appropriate knowledge, I also feel comfortable directing others in order to work in conjunction and discussing a problem with someone in order to cooperatively come to a solution.Being able to cater to someone’s problem, through my own hard work and using the technology I love so much, has become one of my greatest pleasures in life thus far. Whilst I have not had the opportunity to test my skills in a professional standing, I truly wish to make this my career and would be honoured by the chance to do so.
