Elena P••• (Italy, 1992). Architect and urban planner, PhD candidate in architecture. Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano (2015), Master's degree in Spatial Planning and Urban Project from FEUP and FAUP (2017), PhD candidate in the Doctoral Program in Architecture-Urban Forms and Dynamics at FAUP (2020), researcher in Territory Dynamics and Morphologies at CEAU (2021). Member of the associations APU-Associação Portuguesa de Urbanistas (2018), ASF-Architetti Senza Frontiere Italia (2018) and MA- Mulheres na Arquitectura (2020). Since 2014, she has collaborated in urban, architectural and social scale projects in Italy, Argentina, Switzerland, India and Peru, always recognizing the communities’ importance in participatory processes, designing spaces for the people and with the people, getting involved in the most critical urban situations affecting the poorest territories of the world.
