About
On the record
Coming from a multidisciplinary background, I take a holistic approach to creating media objects and communication materials. As a producer (including 2D graphics, sound, copy, video and mixed-media works) I aim to strike a balance between creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing material while taking into account the potential social, political and environmental impacts and cultural interpretations. I have a proven track record of using my skills and experience to help small to medium sized business', community groups and non-profits achieve their goals while working within the triple-bottom-line (3BL) and corporate social responsibility frameworks. My aim is to produce work that is inclusive and intersectional, to serve the community globally and locally.I am naturally curious and excited to learn about new media innovations and evolving digital media platforms to understand the shifting ways in which messages are disseminated and consumed. Some causes I care deeply about are food sovereignty/security/justice, youth media literacy, media policy and copyright laws (in relation to access to information and free education), anti-racism and representation, refugee and mobility rights. I am open to collaborations and new creative projects.
