I am a PhD candidate at IRCMS - Kumamoto University. I am interested in the early embryogenesis, gastrulation, ex-ovo and ex-utero embryo culture, mesoderm and vascular/smooth muscle cell development. Currently working on the development of a chicken embryo-based chimeric animal model to study hiPS cell differentiation in vivo. Also assist in currently ongoing projects in the lab concerning hibernation and cold torpor, CAM development and tumor metastasis. I have extensive experience in chicken embryology, stem cell and tumor transplantation in chicken embryos and chorioallantoic membrane, injection of cells and chemicals in embryos, in situ hybridization, immunostaining and imaging.
