Angela P••• is a seasoned Business Consultant, Startup & Innovation Advisor, and Investment Strategist with extensive experience in banking, financial services, and entrepreneurship in Cyprus and internationally. She previously led the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center of Bank of Cyprus, overseeing initiatives such as the IDEA Innovation Center (Cyprus’ largest startup incubator-accelerator), the Business Academy for SME financial and digital literacy, the ARIS Startup Incubator, and cultural institutions including the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation and the Pierides Museum. Her earlier banking career spans roles in corporate banking, SME financing, credit risk management, product development, and UK operations, giving her a deep financial and operational expertise. Today, Angela advises High Net Worth Individuals, SMEs, and foundations, including the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation and the renowned businessman John Christodoulou – Yianis Group, providing strategic, business development and communication advise. She is also a mentor, coach, and trainer, supporting young entrepreneurs from idea-stage to investment and growth, working with several universities. A frequent speaker, panelist, and judge, Angela has led business delegations and represented Cyprus in USA, Israel, India, Germany, Portugal, and Greece, while maintaining a strong presence in international and local media. She serves on the Board of Invest Cyprus (CIPA) as Chairwoman of the Foreign Investors Aftercare Committee and has held multiple other board and advisory roles supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and public-private partnerships. Her achievements include the Madame Figaro ‘Woman of the Year – Businesswoman/Professional’ Award (2021), the European Enterprise Promotion Award (EEPA, 2019) for IDEA competing against 29 countries, and Cyprus Responsible Business Awards (IDEA) for excellence in private-public partnerships and cause advocacy. Angela holds a BSc in Financial Services (University of Manchester), a BBA (European University Cyprus), and an MBA (University of Birmingham), with advanced certifications in Investment Services, Islamic Finance, and Economic Diplomacy. She is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and equal opportunities in entrepreneurship.
