About

On the record

Currently Shareholder of EGEL, an emissions free transformation system company, that turns waste in hydroxy gases without harmful emission. This transformation process created useful products like Electricity and carbon black. This helpful process reduces the footprint of landfills. I have a new project regarding plastic to fuel. At the same time, I have just sold my bubble tea shop, where I was able to improve my Chinese. It’s allowed me to learn more about the POS software and to keep interacting with people from different backgrounds. In the end of 2019, I sold out PantherData, after 32 years of its starting. 1986 & 1987 saw me on sabbatical doing fields work. I enjoyed the land and hard work and gathered enough money and started my own IT company. PantherData was a vision I’d had for many years and on 28th September 1987 it was born. Today we have dozen staff and service hundreds of businesses with their IT software, hardware, strategies and Office equipment maintenance. PantherData has developed “Managed Supplies Solution” strategy with HP Australia, and a B2B portal for ‘RACQ’ insurance Queensland. We also managed Print Solutions development for many of our existing customer base. Specialties: MES partner ship with HP starting in 2008 now up to $4 million per annum. Anything that’s prints or backs up can offer solutions or products for Mobile Printing. In 1979-1980, started with Remington office machines, essentially forerunners in the manufacture and distribution of typewriters. The company went through many transitions before I joined and I learnt from the companies growing vision where having such vision could lead to. During 5 years stint with Trendsetter Media (1980-1985), I interspersed my time there with a return back to Remington in 1984. I was able to witness the death of the typewriter and the mass introduction of computers. I became passionate about IT and how it transforms the way businesses work and interact with each other. The way data could be stored, delivered and presented. It is a passion I hold to this day. Technology is ever evolving and I enjoy continuously learning and keeping up to date with the newest gadgets that make like easier. I have witnessed such a shift in the industry and it is a pleasure to come to work every day not knowing what new releases will be announced that day. It’s very exciting. So if you are a business that needs computers, printers, office stationary or a strategy on how to streamline your production, then I’d be happy to help.
