On the record
Over the years, my understanding of the significance of education has progressively evolved; from pursuing education for self-enrichment to seeing it as a means of building one’s capacity in the process of serving humanity better. Consequently, my thirst for knowledge has persisted, and deeply I have felt that the only sure way to quench this need is to embark on this enlightenment expedition with a humble posture of learning. In this regard, I have a firm conviction that my vocation should be explored as a practitioner and an academic within the fields of Social Responsibility, Social Action, Sustainable Development, Sustainable Education and Sustainability in general. Apart from exploring the conventional theories, I am also interested in researching other Worldviews—particularly I would like to explore the convergence between Scientific and Indigenous Knowledge/Traditional Knowledge in the above-mentioned areas of study (especially within the field of Sustainable Agriculture).
