Applied Mathematician, Applied Linear Algebra at Signaloid
About
On the record
I’m an Applied Mathematician with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bologna, specializing in numerical linear algebra, randomized algorithms, and high-performance computing. I work on developing new computational methods, building efficient C/C++ software, and proving mathematical results that support real-world applications. My current focus is on randomized numerical linear algebra, leveraging deterministic computations on probability distributions. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer at Lifeware Europe, I led projects in financial software development, including a $370 million premium sales project. Fluent in English and Afrikaans, with strong proficiency in Spanish, German, Catalan, and Italian. Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports, aviation, cooking, travel, languages, AI, music, and public speaking. Let’s connect to discuss numerical computing, algorithm development, and high-performance software engineering.
