About
On the record
My husband, Stan, and I run a sustainable beekeeping in Spring City, Utah. We love to help beginning beekeepers get started and our goal is to develop bees that survive without our intervention. We also sell raw, local honey. Stan is a 4th generation beekeeper and we are currently raising the 5th generation. I also serve as media director for Big Ocean Women, a non-profit organization that stands for faith, family, and motherhood and enables everyday women to learn about and make a stand on local issues and come up with positive, light-filled solutions. I head up a media team consisting of 8 women. Together, we manage social media campaigns, a website, graphics and design, videos, blog, podcasts, interviews, and a monthly newsletter, where we share powerful stories of everyday women. I find great joy as a home educator, and teach math, science, language arts, technology, social studies, fine art, and household management. I track each student's progress and send weekly reports to our charter school. I serve as president to a local group of teen girls. We meet twice per week to work on leadership skills, public speaking, teaching, goal-setting, faith, and fun. I volunteer weekly with my local 4H club as a registered leader.
