Sophie is a Colombian Master in Food Culture, Communication, and Marketing from the only slow food university in the world, the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy. Before starting this path, she did a Bachelor's degree in International Business with a major in Marketing in San Francisco, California followed by an MBA in International Marketing in Geneva, Switzerland. Between her studies, she worked in Austin, Texas for a Slow Travel Agency. With the experience of living in five different countries, Sophie gained valuable assets and tools to interact, connect, and build bridges with diverse cultures. Traveling and seeing other cultures has made her a passionate food and culture storyteller. She loves to cook and research food anthropology. investigating new recipes from cuisines worldwide and using her local resources to make them come to life. She has strong skills for digital content creation, which she showcases on her food Instagram and website. She dreams about entertaining and educating her digital community about world food cultures with a sustainable lens.
