About

On the record

I work in the Undersea Robotics and Imaging Lab, led by Dr. Brennan Phillips at the University of Rhode Island. My research focuses on the development of accessible ocean technology for deep-sea applications. This includes utilizing rapid prototyping techniques such as 3D printing and cost-effective components such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino control boards and cameras. I primarily design and deploy imaging systems, pressure housings, and benthic systems. I have field experience on small and large vessels with operating and deploying Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), benthic landers, acoustic moorings, and fiber optic systems.
