About
On the record
I am privledged to be able to honor both of my life passions: Helping to stop Domestic Violence and Staging and Restyling homes. In both avenues, I counsel, coach and empower people to protect themselves personally, emotionally and financially. I am Owner of a Fresh Look Design, Charlotte's premier choice for occupied and vacant Home Staging and Interior Redesign. I define Home Staging as the psychological art of marketing to sell your home quickly and for the highest price. Our mission is to visually merchandise a home using proven strategies creating an appealing space, which emotionally connects prospective buyers to your home. We understand the psychology behind highlighting a homes positive features so that buyers will fall in love as soon as they come through the door. Vacant staging is our specialty with furniture rentals or furnishings from our own inventory. We "Stage to sell OR Stage to dwell" for those who want to refresh, renew and revive their current residence affordably. We create a model home look for all our staged houses. I presently work as a Senior Social Worker at NOVA ( New Options for Violent Actions) providing group counseling to perpetrators of Domestic Violence who are either court or probation mandated for treatment. I have over 20 years of counseling experience in the fields of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault and co-founded and co-developed the current Domestic Violence, Perpetrators and Sexual Assault shelter program in Salem County, New Jersey. I directed and coordinated all counseling services; Supervised counseling staff members and provided staff trainings; Assisted Executive Director in development of agency programs; personnel management, policy making and grant writting. I provided legal, financial and housing advocacy services as well as court preparation and court accompaniment. I also volunteer with the SHIP program and work to help end homelessness in the Charlotte area.
