Extensive knowledge in Maritime Management, Maintenance and logistic Sound knowledge in the area of repairs and maintenance of Offshore Platform Equipment • Understand corporate objectives and translate into department goals. • Develop appropriate strategies to pursue corporate goals • Develop appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI)for the department and measure progress against targets • Identify Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and implement policies to mitigate against identifiable risks. • Develop implement and police Asset Management policies to ensure equipment maximum life expectancy. • Develop and Manage all Logistical Support for OSV and Tankers • Carry out gap and needs analysis to assist Management in determine strength and weakness of operations. • Implement Conditioning Monitoring technique to determine equipment operating status • Specialized in implementing all Statutory and Regulatory requirements for vessels, including Crew Management, Vessel Survey Management etc. • Ensure adequate system/procedures are in place for safe and reliable operation of plants and equipment • Report department performance to Management • Plan and organize all maintenance activities relating to Industrial, Marine and Commercial Facilities provide functional/administrative guidance to Electrical, Mechanical, Instrument, & A/C sections. • Act as a communication link between the Senior Management and workforce. • Ensure that all company operating procedures (COP), codes/regulations/engineering practices are adhered to by department employees. • Develop long term plans to maintain plant & equipment integrity, improve reliability and maintain cost effectiveness. • Propose, justify and oversee execution of capital & major maintenance development. • Oversee preparation of tenders and management of subcontractors. • Manage major maintenance contracts ensuring all deliverables are achieved
