An experienced civil engineer with 8 years of experience working in the field of civil,structural engineering, construction and asset management. I have also completed a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Canterbury, further solidifying my knowledge and expertise in the field. Currently Working as a Civil design Engineer at Eliot Sinclair, I am responsible for performing a range of tasks including design and engineering in roading, drainage plans, stormwater, wastewater, and water reticulation. I assist in preparing schedules of prices, tender documentation with appropriate specifications, and oversee the construction of civil engineering works. I collaborate with clients and project managers to assess their requirements, create detailed scopes of work, and design requirements. Furthermore, I engage with staff from various departments when working on multi-disciplinary projects. Worked as a Roading Engineer at Buller District council and looking after 600km of sealed and unsealed network, 150+ bridges. This includes overseeing the design and construction of roads, bridges, and other transportation structures. Some of my notable achievements include successfully managing a complex bridge rehabilitation projects, which involved coordinating with multiple contractors and consultants. I am also handling part time responsibilities of working as a Building consent officer with R1,R2,R3, and C1 processing and inspection competencies. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with both consultancies and government organizations. This has provided me with valuable insights into the industry from different perspectives and enhanced my ability to adapt to various work environments.
