I’m a qualified and experienced professional able to operate as an Additive Manufacturing Operator, ensuring production of high-quality additive manufacturing (AM) parts and products, or as an Electronic Security Manager, implementing cutting-edge security solutions to safeguard assets, minimise risks, and ensure the safety of personnel. Over the years I have gained a track record for quickly assessing existing operational practices, identifying opportunities, and then applying my initiative to create ‘best in class’ solutions that deliver outstanding improvements. This trait was demonstrated as Additive Manufacturing Operator with Vincy Makers when I identified an integral fault liability impacting on a client’s business. After re-engineering the component I manufactured robust replacements by utilising 3D printing technology. Removal of the business ‘pain point’ substantially improved the quality of the client’s service, its reputation, and its profitability. I achieve success by combining more than 10 years progressive technical experience in ‘fast paced’ environments with a hands-on leadership style to identify and implement innovative ways to improve products and services. Aside from the technical aspects of my role (3D printing, troubleshooting, computer aided design, compliance, and risk management) my effective communication skills instil confidence with stakeholders and clients to give transparency, generate synergy, and create an environment of trust, respect, and co-operation.
