Me: My whole working career has been around restaurant business, the last 10 years has been in above store functions. This made me grow as a person, manager, coach and leader but always with a getting this done mindset. Even now I’m still ambitious and looking for opportunities to become a better version of myself. I have never turned my back to challenges and when things get hard, I step up to the plate. I’m happily married with 2 kids and a dog. To think about live, next steps, new ideas I go and sit at a lake or river and do some fishing. To clear my head from the day to day business, I will go to the gym and kickbox 3 times a week. To be creative, I cook and try out new recipe to adapt it so next time it will grow into something new. Why: The last 17 years I have been working at KFC Northern Europe. The last year I have been working on the re-franchise of our equity stores. Now this has been completed I’m back to growing partners and their business. The re-franchising came out of a new strategy from the board of YUM in Dallas. YUM is selling off the equity stores worldwide, for shareholder reasons. For myself this transformation means that there are no internal promotions possible anymore. Not having equity stores, downsized our team and above store structure. As I’m a person always working on developing myself, not having the possibility for new future rolls made me decide to look for new opportunities.
