Aakash is a Construction Consultant with 9 years of professional experience and exposure to construction and real estate. He obtained his Master's degree in Building Construction and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently works at Delta Consulting Group in Boston focused on the analysis of construction claims (delay and damages), project advisory including scheduling, and dispute advisory on large scale construction projects. He started working with construction claims, construction litigation, and delay analysis in 2016 at his past employer - Secretariat International. He obtained additional expertise in construction claims at FTI Consulting. He has international and domestic project exposure across various phases of the capital project life cycle in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and aviation. He has experience with projects such as educational institutions, public transit, refineries, airports, renewable energy facilities, and waterway systems. He has worked on several construction claims on multi-million and billion dollar infrastructure projects across the world representing owners, contractors, designers, subcontractors, and vendors. He also has prior experience with the valuation of real estate and personal property (tangible assets) at KPMG LLP. During his time at Georgia Tech, he worked as a construction planning intern with field experience for the national railway of Germany - Deutsche Bahn. He was involved in construction oversight, planning, and verifying CAD drawings for rail stations, railway bridges, and other rail infrastructure in Eastern Germany. Additionally, he was introduced to the world of construction project finance, infrastructure advisory, and risk analysis on highway construction projects through his past Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) at Georgia Tech.
