With a strong focus on work, partnership, honesty, and loyalty as core values, André embarked on his professional journey after completing a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the field of Communication Network Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. He has dedicated his time to start up and consolidate enterprises, enabling him to mature his knowledge in various areas, from Strategic Management, Trading and Marketing to Accounting and Tributary Optimization. Throughout his career he has pursued the creation of sustainable business models for his companies, optimizing, professionalizing and modernizing them in order to be as productive as possible in a context of global competition. For this reason he has led negotiations with investment firms, Venture Capital and Business Angels, having achieved significant capital contributions. Andre is extremely motivated, focused and result oriented. In 2018, he founded NWC – Network Concept, a startup affiliated with IST and INESC-ID. This company was established following the award received for his master's thesis, recognized by the Portuguese Innovation Agency (ADI) under the NEOTEC initiative, which distinguishes technology-based projects with high growth potential. In 2011, he expanded the company to Brazil, with headquarters in Curitiba, located at TECPAR – Instituto de Tecnologia do Paraná, where he developed and managed projects across several states in the country. Despite of its highly technical background, at early stage his activities were dedicated to management, these skills were consolidated through an MBA in Strategic Management at UFPR - Federal University of Paraná. In 2017, they returned to Portugal to assume the position of CEO at Zembe – Distribuição e Soluções de Material Eléctrico. About NWC – Network Concept: Founded in 2008 in the field of software development for smart buildings and headquartered in Taguspark, NWC has two business divisions operating under two brands: iSimplex for its product range and Kelius for project-related activities. About Zembe – Distribuição e Soluções de Material Eléctrico: Established in 1977, ZEMBE is involved in the commercialization and distribution of electrical materials and the development of electrical panels for industrial applications. Through a strong commitment to its employees, suppliers, and customers, Zembe has achieved exceptional growth rates well above the market average from 2017 to 2022, with a CAGR of 20.96% during that period. The company takes pride in various distinctions it has received in different areas.
