I’m a Data Engineer based in Tokyo, currently working at Compliance Data Lab. I build and maintain data pipelines and systems, working closely with teammates across functions and cultures. I have a liberal arts background in Computer Science and Gender, Women’s, and Sexuality Studies, which shapes how I approach technical work. I value context, communication, and the broader social impact of the systems we build, and I’m especially interested in roles that connect technology with social change, equity, and transnational perspectives. I’ve worked on agile development teams and contributed to both modern and legacy systems. My current work involves AWS, Python, Docker, and data analysis workflows, with experience across a range of languages and environments. I enjoy learning new stacks and supporting teams through clear documentation and thoughtful problem-solving. I’ve lived and studied in Thailand and Japan, including a semester at Waseda University, and I work professionally in Japanese. I’m based in Tokyo with a valid visa and am open to conversations around software engineering, data engineering, data science, and impact-driven roles.
